Denying gay marriage is a form of minority discrimination. I believe that denying same-sex couples the right to marry stigmatizes gay and lesbian families as inferior and sends the message that it is acceptable to discriminate against them. If the United States is all about equality – why not say yes to gay marriage? Wouldn't this be a form of equality for them?
