I am not gay and being a Christian I don't necessarily agree with homosexuality however I am ashamed with the Church and the Christian community for reacting the way they have towards gay marriages being made legal in Australia. Though I don't like what I see on the news I refuse to disrespect the people I see and accept their lifestyle choice(?) just as I would like if people out there who don't agree with Christianity would not disrespect my decision to be a Christian.
