Through the successes of legalizing biracial marriages, same sex marriage advocates have a long journey before society becomes accepting of marital activity that is outside the norm. If it took this long just to make biracial marriages legal, one can only imagine how long, strenuous, and grueling it will be before gay marriage can become legalized.
