Asked If Trump Will Attend Biden’s Inauguration, McEnany Says He’ll ‘Attend His Own Inauguration’

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany claimed that President Trump is planning to “attend his own inauguration” when asked by Fox Business host Stuart Varney if Trump would be attending President-elect Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration on Jan. 20.

“Are you prepared to say that President Trump will definitely attend the [Biden’s] inauguration?” Varney asked.

“Again, that’s many steps away here. We’re talking January and President Trump believes he will be President Trump – have a second term and litigation is the first step. Many steps away from that,” McEnany claimed.

“It would look pretty bad if he did not attend the inauguration, it would look like sour grapes wouldn’t it?” Varney asked.

“I think the president [Donald Trump] will attend his own inauguration,” she said, appearing in her capacity as a Trump campaign adviser. “He would have to be there, in fact.”

The president and his adoring sycophants have refused to concede the election to President-elect Joe Biden, now going on almost one week since every major network called the race for Biden.

“He’s throwing up these bogus lawsuits which aren’t going anywhere, which are getting tossed out of court as fast as he files them to try to string this out,” CNN White House correspondent John Harwood said. “He’s fundraising for his political action committee as well as his legal fund, and he’s trying to create… a sense of grievance going forward so he will have something to rally his supporters around,” Harwood said Friday morning.
