Cargo Ship ‘Drew A Penis And Butt’ Before Getting Stuck In Suez Canal, GPS Data Shows

On March 23, 2021, shipping traffic through Egypt’s Suez Canal, one of the world’s vital shipping routes, was ground to a halt after a large vessel called the “Ever Given” got stuck in the passageway.

According to nautical tracking service VesselFinder, the nearly 200-foot wide, 224,000-ton vessel, charted a route resembling a penis, testicles and an enormous butt in the Red Sea shortly before it became stuck, causing an intercontinental traffic jam in the vital maritime artery.

A spokesperson for vesselfinder.com confirmed to Vice News that the ship’s tracking data was accurate, “There is no room for some kind of conspiracies or false data.”

“Innocent, but terrible luck,” disinformation researcher John Scott-Railton captioned a tweet of the Ever Given’s watery, X-rated route.

“While it may resemble a rough drawing of a penis, there’s no evidence to indicate that this was ‘drawn’ on purpose,” Snopes.com noted.

A gigantic cargo ship that is wedged diagonally inside Egypt’s Suez Canal could take weeks to dislodge.

The 400m long MS Ever Given became stuck in the canal on Tuesday during strong winds and reports Thursday indicate it could take weeks to dislodge the ship.

A Dutch salvage company contracted to refloat the ship said the Ever Given resembled a “beached whale.”

“We can’t exclude it might take weeks, depending on the situation,” Boskalis CEO Peter Berdowski told Dutch television programme Nieuwsuur.

“It is like an enormous beached whale. It’s an enormous weight on the sand. We might have to work with a combination of reducing the weight by removing containers, oil and water from the ship, tug boats and dredging of sand.”
