  1. what pathetic people these republicans are with their anti-goverment BS…. dumb sons of bitches would have been the first to drop dead if there was no goverment. like it or not conservatives but you cant win this battle you just cant… you will sell things to gay people wether you guys like that or not…. if you dont well you will get sued and your shop will be closed. the last days for these morons and they cant accept it…. so pathetic.

  2. I lost some brain cells when Rubin compared baking a cake for gay people to drawing a Nazi symbol. Asking a Jew to draw a Nazi symbol is not comparable unless Rubin believes there is a history of gay people suppressing Christians; last time I checked… it was the other way around.

  3. The specific difference that has been made in this case and makes sense to me is that of a generic and artistic service… The former cannot be denied whereas for the later it ought to be possible

  4. I agree that race, age, sexual orientation, and gender are things that someone is born into and cannot change, I agree that being a neo-Nazi, taliban, etc are choices that can change, but where would you place religion? It’s hard to argue that religion isn’t a choice so should religion or the lack of religion be a protected class? Just curious what people think but please reply with an explanation relating to this discussion not just a yes/no or something completely off topic

  5. You can’t make people make you gay cakes. How is that an issue. Let them be religious. That business model won’t work as well as a cake place that serves everyone. First time I’ve ever disagreed with Kyle.

  6. I have no problem with gays but companies should have the right to refuse service. You want them spitting in your food instead? Don't purchase from people that hate you.

  7. You're wrong about the couple not playing identity politics. They sought out a Christian. Amd the baker literally didn't care. He simply refused to make a cake. Sometimes you say stupid shit and its embarrassing

  8. The baker doesn't make cakes for gay *weddings*. The same way a vegan caterer has the right to only cater vegan food (because it's against their morals/religion), the baker should have that same right. He's refusing a product (gay wedding cake), not service to a gay couple.

  9. Hey Kyle, the difference in your Mississippi scenario is that the gay guys would act non gay to prevent any problems, I'm not sure the interracial couple could pull that off.

  10. To be fair, I didn’t know they were able to buy a pre-done wedding cake. Their asking the baker to create a cake from his personal talent a subject he doesn’t want to create is wrong. He owns his talent and forcing him to do this is wrong. As a woman, I don’t like rapists. If a man wanted me to make a cake for a bachelor party depicting a woman being raped, I would not do so and expect my decision to be respected.
The subject is service, not creating. The gas attendant didn’t create the gas or services offered. They are there to be bought. Period. The diner sells food. The motel rents rooms.

  11. If you're allowed to not like gay people, and there's many reasons that can be injected into the conversation – insecurity may be one of them let's say, or fear of HIV as it was back in the day, not saying the reasons are good, not against gay people, just talking about the law. You are allowed not to like somebody, you are allowed even to hate people right? When it comes to art this is weird because the guy that sells the art needs to produce it will deliver a bad product. If I hate motorcycles, but work as a tattoo artist it would be a real problem for me to tattoo a motorcycle on somebody just because it would come out bad. Art should come straight from the imagination, this is what Dave Rubin was saying and was ignored in your analysis. PS: I am trying to learn more about the subject, not trying to piss off anybody.

  12. My opinion is very simple. Being gay must NOT exclude a gay person from any service solely because you are a gay where being gay is not relevant to the service. It does not matter who is going to be consumer of the cake for the baker to make a cake. If a baker may decline to make a cake for a gay person, thus, a gay EMS may decline a service for straight person or a gay police officer or a gay firefighter may decline a service for straight person. Government MUST step up and protect gay rights. Otherwise, gay person should pay no tax or lower tax since a gay person gets less protection from government.

    P. S. I am a straight person.

  13. Can a minority baker refuse to make a Trump cake? What about a gay Baker and a bible themed cake, the same bible that refers to them as abominations? I get not refusing service, but I think there is some grey area when it comes to specialty products or artistic works.
