Disneyland Paris hosted its first-ever pride event at Walt Disney Studios Park, which included the park’s first-ever pride parade, reports InsideTheMagic.

Disney’s Magical Pride event coincided with the first day of LGBT Pride Month, Saturday, June 1st.

The event featured performances from several out artists, including Years & Years lead singer Olly Alexander and Boy George, and acts with large LGBTQ fan bases like Corine and Sindykatz

“Dress like a dream, feel fabulous and experience Walt Disney Studios Park like never before,” reads the Disneyland Paris website. “Loud, proud and alive with all the colours of the rainbow!”

The website adds: “In 2019, for the first time ever, Disneyland® Paris made Magical Pride a signature event on their annual calendar with a private Pride party that took place at Walt Disney Studios® Park featuring live performances, a March of Diversity Parade, Disney Character Meet ‘n’ Greets, access to selected attractions and much more!”

Guests were invited to enjoy a Magic Lip Sync-Along competition and a Disney-approved Pride parade featuring hundreds of marchers in rainbow t-shirts, floats featuring Corine and Boy George, and a host of favorites from Toy Story, Aladdin, Ratatouille and Lilo & Stitch.

Mickey and Minnie also appeared wearing brand new Pride outfits and riding in a car decked out in rainbows and hearts.
