A White House correspondent on Thursday left Trump temporarily stunned when he dared to ask him point-blank if he regrets “all the lying” he’s done to the American people over the last three years.
HuffPost’s Shirish Date began by asking: “Mr. President, after three and a half years, do you regret at all all the lying you’ve done to the American people?”
TRUMP: “All the what?”
DATE: “All the lying, all the dishonesty.”
TRUMP: “And who is that?”
DATE: “You have done. Tens of thousands …”
After a giving Date a stunned looked, Trump tried to quickly move on to another reporter without answering his original question.
“You go ahead please, please, go ahead,” Trump said while pointing at another reporter in the room.

According to the Washington Post’s latest Fact Checker database update, Trump has made at least 20,055 false or misleading since assuming office as of July 9, 2020.
