Draw What Happens: Andy Cohen Is Getting His Own Animated Series

In yet another sign that there will always be someone somewhere with time and money on their hands, an animated show about Bravolebrity Svengali Andy Cohen is in the works.

Something called Quibi is producing The Andy Cohen Diaries, which is “the next installment of the New York Times best sellers The Andy Cohen Diaries and Superficial: More Adventures From the Andy Cohen Diaries, which documented three years in the whirlwind life of the producer, TV host, and best-selling author in his own candid words,” reports Deadline.

Quibi, which is a short-form mobile video platform founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg, launches next year, and it’s already planning to give the gays what they want. In addition to Bravo Daddy Cohen, oft-shirtless comedian Joel Kim Booster is bringing a touch of Jane Austen to Fire Island with Trip, a gay rom-com riffing on Pride and Prejudice.

While Booster found inspiration in Austen, Cohen’s diaries are inspired by The Andy Warhol Diaries. The six-episode series will recount the Watch What Happens Live host’s most recent adventures, including “irreverent celebrity encounters, behind the scenes of his shows, nights out on the town, and the trials and tribulations of first-time fatherhood.”

“I’m so excited to start writing more adventures in my diaries, and animated, short installments represent the perfect format to bring these to life,” Cohen said in a statement.

If The Andy Cohen Diaries is half as animated as a regular live-action episode of WWHL… well, NeNe Leakes is probably going to be pissed.
