Filmmaker Dustin Lance Black just marked his son’s first birthday in the most adorable way.
Posting to Twitter and Instagram, Black posted a photo of him holding up a single candle to his one-year-old son, Robert Ray Black-Daley.
‘Happy first birthday Robbie Ray,’ he wrote in the caption. ‘Thank you for bringing so much love and laughter into our lives!’
Great British Bake Off 2018 winner Rahul Mandal responded: ‘Many many happy returns of the day. Always be yourself Robbie, be who you want to be. A lot of cake wishes from Uncle Rahul.’
Then Australian diver Anabelle Smith replied with three love hearts.
Black’s husband diver Tom Daley, is yet to post about their son’s first birthday.

On 27 June last year, Dustin Lance Black and Tom Daley announced the birth of their son, via surrogacy.
A few days later, they posted a gorgeous first photo of their beautiful newborn baby.

The black and white image shows baby Robert, named after Daley’s late father, cradled in the hands of his doting parents.
Daley and Black can be seen holding hands to protect little Robert. Both parents can be seen smiling down on their baby boy.
Black wrote on Twitter at the time: ‘Welcome to the world little Robbie Ray. Thank you for bringing so much love and light with you’, Black wrote alongside the photo on his Twitter account.
‘And thank you to those who helped make our dream of having a family into this wonderful reality,’ he said.
