Monster is also expected to touch on white privilege, as a clean-cut, good-looking white guy,  Dhamer was repeatedly given a free pass by cops.

Dahmer was known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster due to him being involved with necrophilia and cannibalism in some of his victims.

Three weeks after his graduation at aged 18, Dahmer carried out his first murder.

He went onto kill young men and boys, becoming infamous for mutilating the bodies of his victims. He would go on killing until he was apprehended in 1991.

Convicted of 16 murders, he was beaten to death by another inmate in 1994, two years into his sentence. He was 34.

There have been multiple movies around Dahmer, unlike most of the previous storylines, Monsters approach is psychological and focuses on how the murders were allowed to happen over more than a decade.
