Today was a Halloween lip sync war between the hosts of The Talk, where the ladies lip synced for their lives on the daytime chat fest. Carrie Ann Inaba chose Jennifer Lopez; Marie Osmond was Gwen Stefani from The Sweet Escape era; and Sharon Osbourne was Stevie Nicks. But it was Eve who really slayed the challenge by dressing as ’90s “Supermodel” era queen of all queens: RuPaul.
Eve recreated Ru’s look from the classic “Supermodel” music video, complete with magazine covers, runway walks, and fashion photo shoots.
She wasn’t the only glamazon who sashayed down the runway. Drag Race queens Derrik Barry and Kimora Blac joined her, along with Hot Chocolate and Nebraska.
“What was the challenge today being Ru?” co-host Kelly Osbourne asked Eve after she finished her performance.
“Honestly, RuPaul is such an icon, and I just want to do RuPaul proud. The attitude, the confidence, the beauty, I just wanted to bring all that,” the legendary rapper responded.
This led Kelly to respond, “Well, Mother Ru is a good friend of mine, so if you could say anything to the Mother, what would you say?”
“Thank you so much for your inspiration and your bravery. I am just honored to even be dressed up like you,” Eve added. Mama Ru herself even shared her reaction in a video, saying: “Oh my gosh. Wow! E-V-E, girl, you turnt it! You better work.”
