  1. I have never been able to wrap my head around how homosexuality is a threat to traditional marriage. . . . And I was raised Mormon. . . So yeah I can wrap my head around a lot of bullshit. . . Well ok now I'm atheist, but my point still kind of sort of stands ish. . . .

  3. Let's flip the tables for a second. Here is an argument ad abserdum:

    "I don't mind you being a Christian. It's the ACT of being a Christian that I have a problem with; praying, going to church, etc.

    Besides, it's clearly unnatural to be Christian. No one is born with it. It's a condition of people who become confused and are deluded to believe that what they are feeling is true, but really they just need to be reprogrammed to think correctly.

    As an atheist, it would transgress on my religious liberties to give equal rights to Christians, because that would be to accept it as equal to my worldview. Therefore, it should not be recognized under the law. If you want to be a Christian, keep it in your home."

  4. Christians do most of the things the bible forbids, they eat the things the bible says are off limits, they covet, they collect wealth, etc…basically Christians like latching onto the 'gay' issue because it makes it easy to hate on them.

  15. People who are vehemently opposed to homosexuality maintain that position in order to deflect any suggestion that THEY might be Gay or have homoerotic fantasies. I'm straight. I don't have clandestine Gay relationships that I need to hide. If someone suspected me of being Gay, I'd be, like, yeah so big fucking deal, you think I'm Gay, so what. All these extremely vocal religious people who oppose Gay marriage…, a huge number of them are shame-filled, closeted queens. Too bad they can't just be free.
