4. I was having this conversation the other day. I am gay and have many gay friends. I have wondered why some gay people/couples feel the need to rush to the alter. I personally feel the same as Jim. With not having the right to marry for so long, and having not really grown up with the idea there as an adult it just doesn't feel like a necessity. Nothing against anyone who does, but to me there are too many people that are more focused on a WEDDING and not a MARRIAGE. Like Jim said if you're truly in love with someone in reality you're already there.

22. As a Christian, I know that I'm not supposed to judge anyone. Love is love. It's not for any person to judge someone for who they love.
    My personal thought is that gay marriage IS NOT the downfall of the marriage…. infidelity, dishonesty, & abuse are the downfalls of marriage.
