Four Jimmy John’s workers in Georgia have been fired after they staged a mock lynching in one of the stores.

The incident occurred at a store in Woodstock, Georgia, where the employees filmed themselves fashioning a noose that appears to be made of bread dough.

One employee is seen placing the “noose” around the neck of another and yanks it repeatedly as the others watch and laugh, the video shows.

Near the bottom of the video is a celebratory “Happy 4th of July” filter.

The clip was posted on Snapchat and later shared across social media, racking up thousands of views.

In a statement on Twitter, Jimmy John’s condemned the racist incident and said the employees had been fired.

“We have zero tolerance for racism or discrimination in any form,” the company commented under the video, which was re-shared by a Twitter user on Sunday. “The franchisee has taken immediate action and the employees have been terminated. The actions seen in this video are completely unacceptable and do not represent the Jimmy John’s brand.”
