If there’s one thing Andy Cohen is good at, it’s getting his celebrity guests to spill juicy tidbits while they are sippin’ cocktails in the Watch What Happens Live Clubhouse.
On the latest episode of Andy’s late night chatfest, his guests were Chrissy Metz from This Is Us and Lance Bass from *NSYNC.

In a clip from the episode, Andy asks Lance how he had heard that Britney Spears was one of the first people Lance ever came out to. Lance then proceeds to tell this wild story about when he told Britney he was gay—on her (first) wedding night.
“It was the night that she got married the first time in Vegas to Jason Alexander,” recalls Lance. “So I went up to Vegas to kind of see the craziness that was happening, and she was a little upset once she realized what she had done because, you know—at first—it was a funny thing.”
Lance then reveals how he went with Britney up to her hotel room, and the two were sitting on her bed she wouldn’t stop crying. “So I was like ’I’m gay,’” says Lance. “And it made her stop crying. She chuckled.”
The former *NSYNC member and Britney go way back since the beginning of Britney’s pop career when she opened for *NSYNC on the road. The two were close friends, so much so that he came out to her two years before he officially told the rest of the world in 2006.
Isn’t that what friends are for? Watch Lance tell his bonkers story in the video clip below.
