Pro-Trump Pastor Says Modern Church “Effeminate, Almost Homosexual,” Asks “Where Are the Men?”

Pro-Trump Evangelical minister Jeff Jansen, a self-proclaimed “prophet,” railed against the current state of the Christian church in the U.S. on Saturday, describing today’s faith leaders as “effeminate” and “almost homosexual,” particularly any male member who refuses to carry a firearm.

Jansen, who co-founded the Global Fire Ministries International in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was a guest speaker at the Redmond, Oregon-based Ignite Faith Church, where he repeatedly demanded to know “where are the men” among America’s modern church leaders.

“Jansen said that U.S. churches have been ‘neutered’ as he interwove gun control measures with femininity,” reports Newsweek. “He boasted that ushers at his church services ‘all pack’ guns during services, and he’s instructed them to ‘kill’ anyone they may consider a threat to him or other Global Fire Ministries members.”

“The church, the Ecclesia, the government of God, has been so neutered and so turned effeminate, almost homosexual, I’m just telling you straight up. Straight up. It’s ridiculous. Where are the men? Where are the men, where’s the maleness? Where is the, you know, ‘I will defend the children, I will protect the family?’”

“In Christian theological terms, “Ecclesia” is a reference to the collective body of church leaders and followers,” Newsweek notes. “Jansen on Saturday went on to tout how his church staff are willing to open fire during a service should they perceive a threat.”

“The ushers at my church [in Murfreesboro], they all pack,” Jansen continued. “They all pack. If you come to my place and you think about starting something? You’re dead. They’ll kill you. They’ll shoot you, because they’re going to protect everybody else.”

“Just make sure you get them, just kill them, just shoot them dead,” Jansen said, describing the directions he’s given his armed ushers.

When Newsweek reached out to Jansen’s Global Fire Ministries International Sunday afternoon for any context regarding his view that the modern church has become “almost homosexual” in nature, the group replied: “Please don’t watch him or listen to him with the intent of publishing things you do not understand.”

“Jansen wrote a book published last August entitled, Trump: The Destiny of God’s America, in which he prophesized that ‘God will play his TRUMP card’ in the November 2020 election,” Newsweek notes. “Jansen was among several self-proclaimed evangelical ‘prophets’ who for years predicted Trump would win re-election. But he took that even a step further, claiming last month that the former president would be reinstated two months after President Joe Biden’s ‘fake inauguration.’”

He’s not our president,” Jansen said of Biden in February. “He is not, nor will he ever be. Everybody knows there was a red tidal wave, there was a Red Sea moment, which is a red tidal wave. And quite frankly, America voted in Donald J. Trump.”

Jansen’s official church website describes him as a world-renowned leader in “Miracle/Healing anointing and Prophetic ministry.”
