Season two of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK has been a truly historic season that supplied so many iconic moments.

From the first-ever lip-sync walkout by Ginny Lemon to the pandemic pausing filming to the first ever UK double shantay.

Not forgetting Bimini Bon Boulash’s four RuPeter badges wins! Drag race UK has been filled with highs and lows.

In honour of the top 4 queens, we wanted to take a look at their time on Ru Pauls Drag Race UK

Lawrence Chaney

The early front runner, Glasgow based drag queen Lawrence Chaney has left viewers in hysterics with all their confessionals and iconic mannerisms throughout the season.

Winning three consecutive RuPeter badges during week three to week five that included the design, song and improvisation challenge.

Although the next challenge is where Lawrence lost momentum. During the historic Snatch Game, Lawrence failed to live up to the high expectations set of him when she parodied acting legend, Miriam Margolyes. This poor performance left Lawrence in the bottom two where she had to lip-sync for their life.

Ellie Diamond

The self-titled diamond of Dundee is the second Scottish queen to make the final four.

With a very consistent record of being safe throughout the season, Ellie has been cruising through the competition until the final hurdle that occurred on the penultimate episode where she had to lip-sync against fellow finalist Tayce.

That lip sync was a true testament to what UK drag is all about. Dancing your heart out to a Steps song which led to the first-ever UK double shantay you stay a moment.

Beginning the competition at the age of just twenty-one, Ellie Diamond made it very clear that age is just a number when it comes to talent. Designing all her outfits throughout the series.

Tayce

The first-ever Welsh competitor in Drag Race herstory, Tayce has had the weight of a nation riding on her shoulders throughout.

In what could be considered the most dramatic journey to the final of them all, Tayce has had to lip-sync not once but four times to stay in the competition that included three consecutive lip-syncs that included the last episodes double shantay with Ellie Diamond. Tayce is a true lip-sync assassin who knows how to put on a show.

This was also shown in her RuPeter badge winning the maxi challenge for the RuRuvision episode alongside other United Kingdolls members that included her best friend A’Whroa and fellow finalists Lawrence Chaney and Bimini Bon Boulash.

Tayce’s heavenly voice has played a major role throughout the season with audiences declaring her as the narrator of the season due to her iconic confessionals.

Bimini Bon Boulash

Considered the fan favourite of the series, Bimini has surged into superstardom since their first appearance on the show.

The self-titled ‘ East London’s Bendiest Bitch‘ Bimini Bon Boulash has made Drag Race herstory throughout the season and is ready to smash another record tonight.

After winning the first lip-sync against Joe Black it lit a fire in Bimini that hasn’t been burned out since.

Truly unleashing the beast, Bimini went on to win a record four RuPeter badges, also becoming the first contestant in any Drag Race series to lip-sync first and win Snatch Game as well. If made victorious tonight Bimini will be the first drag queen to lip-sync first and win the whole series too.

Doing it for all the non-binary and vegan people in the nation, Bimini offers something for everybody to love. Winning all the audience votes via social media polls online by a landslide.
