Let's hold our ground. Definitely we must acknowledge the existence of the gay community, and their rights as human beings must be respected. However, I am totally against publicizing i.e. kissing and holding hands in public, gay people in movies and programs, hell no. We must accept that we are Africans. We have our culture and beliefs, which greatly differ from those of westerners. This is Africa!
And additionally, why do we need wealthy whites funding and backing the movement? What's in it for them??
