Wrestler Mr. Grim, known as “The Hitman For Hire,” announced on New Year’s Day that he is pansexual.

“For years, I’ve struggled with my identity. Too worried about how others would feel or think about me,” Mr. Grim, born as Chris Davis, tweeted, “I’ve finally gained the courage to openly express that [I’m] Pansexual.”

Mr. Grim thanked Nyla Rose, a trans woman and champion wrestler, for influencing him to come out.

“Thank you… for being my inspiration, supportive and holding my hand throughout this process,” he concluded in the tweet, tagging Rose.

Mr. Grim is currently an independent wrestler that debuted in 2013. Based in Washington D.C., he has trained with Matt Wylde of the Eastern Wrestling Alliance and competed in several regions in North America.

He’s recently debuted in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) competition in May 2020, the same promotion that Rose is the star of.

He has made multiple lists of competitors expected to “go pro” in the wrestling universe by joining a major promotion.

Standing at 5’10” and 270 lbs, it’s no wonder that the imposing athlete has already held a title in the experimental Wrestler’s Laboratory promotion. He had the championship belt for over 1,000 days, until “Polyam King” wrestler MV Young, who is also pansexual, defeated him on August 30, 2020.

Both Rose and Young congratulated Mr. Grim on his coming out, welcoming him to the growing number of professional wrestlers who are out.

Rose told him, “if you end up buying a flag, don’t iron it or you’re kicked out.”

Young used the opportunity as an “excuse” to share footage of him wrestling with Mr. Grim, or “pan on pan violence,” he joked.
