Keep the kettle on because RuPaul is bringing back his British girls.

World of Wonder and BBC Three have announced that RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. has been renewed for a second season, set to debut in 2020.

WOW

“I want to thank the BBC and all our fans for their overwhelming support of RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K,” RuPaul said in a statement. “This season’s queens proved that Britain’s Got Charisma Uniqueness Nerve and Talent and I want to see more! Here’s to another season of love, laughter and light!”

The next season will also consist of eight episodes. The biggest twist? Casting for Season 2 is already underway: BBC Three is currently on the hunt for the next batch of queens to compete for the Ru Peter badges on the Drag Race main stage, and U.K. queens have until Friday, November 15, to submit the initial application.

No word yet on who will be joining Ru at the judges’ table, but fingers crossed that Michelle Visage, Alan Carr, and Graham Norton sashay their way back to the Drag Race set.

And can we please make sure Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley are available to guest judge? We would just love an Absolutely Fabulous-inspired challenge.

Keep an eye out for the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K, premiering in 2020.

RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. airs Fridays at 8/7c on Logo.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was “just the cutest thing ever.”
