5. Я понимаю, что сказать в интервью правду сложно, особенно если эта правда может стоить тебе карьеры, но я не понимаю, почему он скрывает то, в какой ситуации мы находимся? Лгбт в России безусловно есть, в Москве и в Петербурге конечно же есть гей клубы, но в других городах все намного хуже, чем в столице. ( хотя куда хуже, уже который год в Москве и Петербурге власти срывают гей парады) А этот закон о пропаганде гомосексуализма? Да чего уж там, меня избили из-за того, что я держалась за руку с человеком, которого я люблю.

12. He answered well, and he's obviously a very nice and open person. And of course, he is but a simple pop star, not a politician or civil society leader, so this issue is not really his remit or responsibility… but at the end of the day, when a wildly popular government is passing laws that expressly link homosexuality to danger in relation to children, you can be sure that a strong anti-LGBT sentiment exists in the country. It is not mere "talks" and "rumours". Even if being gay in Russia doesn't necessarily mean you'll be beaten up or something sensationalist like that. He would do better to ackowledge this problem, rather than claim that it is untrue… as for certain people saying that it is just as difficult for LGBT people in other countries to hold their partner's hand in public, well, in many places in western Europe (Madrid, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Berlin, Dublin etc.), this is simply not true.

15. Were people (=viewers) expecting to have a detailed and critical response about LGBT rights in Russia? Seriously? In my opinion this was the best he could do. The internet provides with videos of Russians being ashamed of even talking about LGBT issues, so just by answering the question in this way Sergey is going against what the majority of Russians think imo.

Гейство в России не особо принимается это да, у нас был другой путь социально-экономического и политического развития, да и менталитет совсем не западный это стоит учитывать.
