  1. Miss Marsha (or) "Lady Kinky Marsha" as she was fondly called on Christopher Street in the 70's in Greenwich Village was a larger than life street drag queen that everyone knew! She was homeless; often slept on the streets of the village or under the old West Side Highway in a cardboard box and was know to also frequent the flea-bag Keller Hotel on West Street on cold Winter nights. She never had any money, yet always made it out to Fire Island in Summer on the LIRR. She slept in the meat-rack, on the beach or under someones deck and could be seen dancing at the Ice Palace or floating around nude in the pool with a huge cocktail !Oh yes…..she was quite the colored party animal and also a regular in Studio-54 i the early to mid 80's…..back in the gay !

  2. This was way better than I expected. I knew I would be uncomfortable, but it's so well done and there are really three different stories here, and it's ultimately about pure justice.

  3. Just… Wow. This trailer, gives off such an emotion, sorrow, justice, and even pride. Seeing Marsha, and so many other people fighting for our rights, it was absolutely revolutionary, and beautiful, and it kills me that we are never taught about this, I had to look up the riots to find out about them, the American school system needs to start teaching this, it's so important.

  4. As a proud gay Mexican-American man, I'm extremely thankful to the brave heroes like Marsha P. Johnson as well as the other lgbt people of color who fought for the rights that I have today to be who I am. Hollywood white washing the Stonewall movie and emphasising "Straight acting" was a disgrace to the people who were actually there fighting to be themselves.

  5. As excited as I am to see more light being cast on Marsha's life and impact, I refuse to watch this documentary. Filmmaker David France stole years of archival materials and original research from Reina Gosset to produce this film. Reina should have been the one telling this story and she should have been credited and compensated for the hard work and dedication she put into sharing Marsha's story. Watch Happy Birthday Marsha instead http://www.happybirthdaymarsha.com/

  6. Marsha P Johnson self identified as a drag queen and a gay man. Not trans. It's anachronistic to describe Marsha as a trans woman. Trans activists revising historical narrative to make trans people central yet again. #GayErasure

  7. ok im sorry but the "guys" eyebrows are shit they are uneven and drawn on so shitty if ur a fucking guy looking like a guy dont dress as a fucking "woman" cause ur still looking like a man. im sorry i dont care if i get hate comments this is my opinion dont be dressing like a "woman" if u look very manly u will make a very ugly woman

  8. As a gay man, I’ve always had the highest respect for drag queens….they were at the apex of the LGBTQ movement. Shame on inauthentic organizations like the Human Rights Campaign for trying to deny them and transgenders.

  9. Just wacthed the whole documentary today,didnt regret a bit,Marsha is a true queen,Keep living on legend?️‍?❤
