The gay rights movement is an enemy of freedom. I know plenty of gay people on a friendly basis, but they often have messed up lives (and not because they're oppressed and discriminated against). I won't go into how messed up their lives are, but I've known 2 gay guys to die in my lifetime and a handful that went to prison and drug rehab. I know a gay couple that has a house. They both have good jobs, and nobody messes with them. They are my friends, and I can go to dinner with them (just not to Gay Pride). The average gay/lesbian person defines their whole lives around their sexuality (completely shallow and they often don't have hobbies beyond television). They feel the need to raise their rainbow flags everywhere just to reinforce "how great it is to be gay". Given that the gay people I know used to have wives that treated them poorly (and the problems with women today is a whole other issue), I can understand why they lean towards same-sex relations. The gay rights movement oppresses people under the guise of equality. Me? I'm a frustrated straight guy, but I love Jesus, and I won't stand for a group of vindictive faggots who rely on subversion and subterfuge to achieve their goals. Also, I live with a gay guy, so you can shut the fuck up about me discriminating. P.S. The government should not be a party in people's marriage contracts, so that destroys the whole gay marriage thing (or state-sanctioned marriage as a whole).
