Trump Becomes First President To Yell ‘Bullshit’ In Live White House Presidential Address: MSNBC

President Donald Trump called impeachment “bullshit” in a wild, televised speech from the East Room of the White House on Thursday.

Trump ripped the recently closed impeachment process as “unfair” and complaining that the “witch hunt” started “from the day we came down the elevator… And it never really stopped.”

“Every time I say, ‘This is unfair, let’s go to court,’ they say, ‘Sir, you can’t go to court, this is politics.’ We were treated unbelievably unfairly. You have to understand, we first went through Russia, Russia, Russia. It was all bullshit,” Trump said.

“It was evil” he declared as he tore into the “dirty cops,” the “leakers and liars,” and his various political opponents. “It was a disgrace,” he said while commenting that, “I don’t know that other presidents would have been able to take it.”

The profanity-laced tirade was carried live by all major networks:

MSNBC’s Andrew Mitchell said that in her recollection, it was “the first time the word B.S., and he didn’t abbreviate it, was used in the east room in a formal presidential address.”

The Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart noted: “From the East Room of the White House, where President Kennedy’s body laid at rest before his funeral, and after the Prayer breakfast, the impeached President of the United States said, ‘Bullshit.’ ”

Walter Shaub, former head of the Office of Government Ethics, tweeted: “The President of the United States of America just said on national television that his impeachment was ‘bullshit.’ He is a disgrace to the office.”
