In a series of unhinged tweets attacking journalists Sunday afternoon, President Donald Trump demanded that reporters who have received “Noble Prizes” for investigating his administration give them back.
“When will all of the ‘reporters’ who have received Noble Prizes for their work on Russia, Russia, Russia, only to have been proven totally wrong (and, in fact, it was the other side who committed the crimes), be turning back their cherished “Nobles” so that they can be given to the REAL REPORTERS & JOURNALISTS who got it right,” he rage tweeted.
“I can give the Committee a very comprehensive list,” he wrote. “When will the Noble Committee DEMAND the Prizes back, especially since they were gotten under fraud?”
“The reporters and Lamestream Media knew the truth all along,” he added. “Lawsuits should be brought against all, including the Fake News Organizations, to rectify this terrible injustice. For all of the great lawyers out there, do we have any takers? When will the Noble Committee Act? Better be fast!”

Several journalists expressed confusion about what Trump was talking about because the Nobel Prize doesn’t have a category for Journalism and that it is actually spelled Nobel, not “Noble.”
I don’t know of anyone who has won a Noble, or a Nobel, prize for their journalism in the Trump administration. https://t.co/Xpan76Tqd9

Many assumed that Trump was referring to the Pulitzer Prize, not the Nobel Prize. Reporters at The New York Times and Washington Post did win previous Pulitzer Prizes for investigations into Russia and the 2016 presidential election.
I’m assuming the president means Pulitzer Prize and not the Nobel Prize…not to mention the misspelling.
Do any Trump supporters want to defend errors like this? I just know if Biden did the same thing they’d be attacking him for it, and they’d be right to! pic.twitter.com/OvrxsavRTe

I’m not saying the President has to be the smartest person in the country, but it would help if he wasn’t the dumbest.

Secondly, Trump is just beyond jealous that President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize and yet Trump will never even come close to winning the award. He can watch Greta Thunberg though. The only thing Trump will ever accomplish that Obama never could was getting impeached.

p.s. it’s “Nobel” not Noble 🙄

More Donald ignorance. No NOBEL prizes for journalists. Bipartisan Sen Intel Cmte report shows Russia helped Trump.
He pleads for lawyers to sue journalists.
If he has $10B why not hire some?
I was first to reveal in 1990 that Donald’s no billionaire; still isn’t.
