Watch Trixie Mattel Judge Katya’s Acting in “AJ and the Queen”

No, Katya does not play “BJ.”

Trixie Mattel and Katya invite fans to their TV viewing parties with their digital series I Like to Watch, where the RuPaul’s Drag Race squirrel friends poke fun at Netflix originals.

In the latest episode, the UNHhhh duo provides very special commentary for RuPaul’s new Netflix series, AJ and the Queen, an obvious choice since it features cameos from 22 Drag Race alums, including Katya herself.

“I wasn’t even asked. Maybe I’m RuPaul’s nemesis,” Trixie says. “But I’m excited to see it. I love when things happen for my friends and not for me, and it’s televised.” Wow. And you thought J.Lo was snubbed?

Needless to say, they both have thoughts about the brief appearances by their sisters, including Eureka O’Hara, Alexis Mateo, and Jinkx Monsoon.

After threatening to pull an Adam Driver and storm off set, Katya watches her own performance as Magda for the first time.

“Now, did you see me? I was acting,” Katya says, revealing that she wasn’t really applying makeup during her dressing room scene. “Acting is reacting.”

“That’s why she left the room,” Trixie says of Ru’s exit as Ruby Red. “She saw you and reacted. She was like, ’No thank you.’”

Katya also reveals how closely art imitates her life when it comes to some of the show’s disastrous lip syncs.

Like Cher, this I Like to Watch episode is everything. Watch below.
