Watch What Had Happened Backstage at the “Drag Race” Season 11 Reunion

Stick a camera in a dressing room full of drag queens and tea is guaranteed to be served.

As another RuPaul’s DragCon winds down in Los Angeles, let’s not forget the recent shade-stuffed reunion episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Hold on to your stolen Ariel Versace wigs, honey, because VH1 has released a behind-the-scenes look at all 15 Season 11 queens getting ready backstage before the reunion, where Ru cracked open the season’s messiest feuds: Silky Nutmeg Ganache vs. Yvie Oddly, Ra’Jah O’Hara vs. Plastique Tiara, Scarlet Envy vs. Brooke Lynn Hytes, etc.

“We’re like a really big sisterhood,” says Honey Davenport, feeling her pre-show Pollyanna fantasy. “So I think that, outside of the pressure of what RuPaul’s Drag Race is, having us all back together, that the world is really going to see how much we love each other.”

“I want this season to be remembered as being one of the best seasons, if not the best, so I’m hoping the girls can step out of their feelings a little bit,” says Nina West about her hopes for a classy reunion. Ha!

“I can tell you what I hope it’s not: this girl vs. that girl vs. this girl,” says Silky, calling out the rivalry between social media queens, pageant queens, and “spooky dooky” queens like Yvie. Good luck with that, sis.

Yvie, unsurprisingly, knows exactly what reunion buffoonery to expect, because that’s what she’s bringing: “Without being like ’I told you so,’ I want to be like, ’I told you so.’ That’s all. To everyone. I just want to be myself,” she says. “It seems like a lot of people do have things to get off of their chests, so I know that there are going to be some conversations. I’m just hoping that we can handle them like grown-ass catty drag queens.”

“Oh, girl, I think it’s going to be an absolute shit show,” says Brooke, “and I cannot wait.”

VH1 also corralled the contestants into “Queen to Queen” chat groups of three, because you know they were all feeling some type of way about things that wouldn’t fit in a reunion episode.
