You Need to Get Into Kelly Clarkson’s Remix of “A Little Bit Alexis.” Now.

God bless unproblematic fave and actual American idol Kelly Clarkson. First of all, kudos to her for making a daytime talk show work. And brava for bringing on Schitt’s Creek’s resident It-ish girl Alexis Rose, a.k.a. Annie Murphy, for some inspired shits and giggles.

Last season, Alexis made quite the stir with “A Little Bit Alexis,” the title song off her “critically reviewed” limited realty series of the same name. Sing along if you know the words:
 

“A Little Bit Alexis” is what you get if you took Lindsay Lohan’s seminal 2004 bop “Rumors,” mixed it with Paris Hilton’s 2006 classic “Stars Are Blind,” and then made it like a thousand times better. These lyrics alone:

I’m a Lamborghini
I’m a Hollywood star
I’m a little bit tipsy
When I drive my car

I’m expensive sushi
I’m a cute huge yacht
I’m a little bit single
Even when I’m not

And they’re delivered in the kind of noncommittal, “morning after/still evening” haze that marked so much of Alexis’s early shenanigans and occasional felonies.

So what could possibly make this gem any better? Why, Kelly Clarkson, of course, who lent her pipes and her own twist with a new version, “A Whole Lotta Kelly.”

The result is nothing short of a goddamn delight. Are you ready? Let’s do it.
