Power, willful ignorance, and a contempt for their own people are
symptoms within Africas Leadership in general, and when Africa on the whole
becomes economically independent, spawning its own ogliarchs,
those symptoms will worsen. I pity girls, women, gays and the poor when
that happens, because what is happening to them now will be a picnic in
comparison. I pray that an African Spring proves me wrong.
In the meantime, what has sudenly happened to the President to change his
mind about the Bill? Is he not bothered about losing Ugandas humanitarian
aid? Or has the gay loving Putin slipped him a back-hander I wonder.
