  1. Africa’s Elephants and Rhinos are currently under threat of extinction if
#IvoryTrade is anything to go by. China, Malaysia, Vietnam are some of the
countries mentioned in the Ivory trade business. Host Joy Doreen Biira
spoke to Raabia Hawa, a conservationist in Kenya #HandsOffOurElephants

  3. Listened in Ireland and it is a pity that Raabia is not able to drive
Government policy across Africa . Sadly African leaders are letting
multinational companies destroy the ecology all over the continent . There
is not enough effort put into saving the natural environment . These
companies have done so much damage across Europe and the USA , because the
    dollar/euro talks !!

  4. The countries you listed as consumers i.e. Kenya, South Africa, Chad,
Mozambique, Tanzania etc are not consumers of Ivory….its the Far East.
But good interview Raabia for telling it as it is. 2. I believe that we
have people high in power who are involved in killing our elephants. How
else can one explain the low fines being meted on people found with
elephant tusks and rhino horns. What is KSH 50,000 vs the millions that
these guys make out of the illegal trade of our HERITAGE?
