26 Comments on “Anti-Gay Bill Veto is NOT Sign of Evolving on Gay Rights”

  1. Aw, Ron we’re starting to have the same trolls visit us, the TYT Network
must be picking up haha Great video!

  2. I disagree with you on this topic. I think it is an evolution on gay
rights. Other states are planning to do the same thing. Of course any
anti-gay law is unconstitutional, in time it will be struck down by all the
states. Anyways, the older people are the issue, considering their children
are usually less religious than their parents. There are like no
millennials in office yet. But there will be in 10-20 years based on age.

  3. I guess your liberal teachers that brain washed you right from the outset
failed to inform you that the slaves were freed by Abe Lincoln, a
    Republican

  4. I remember a comedian in the eighties and nineties talking about cat toy
news. He pointed out that like a pet owner the MSM would dangle news items
about issues that are while important socially doesn’t effect the structure
of the political or economic system while the big stuff like dismantling
the welfare state or NSA surveillance slides slide right by. I think the
Republicans use issues that shouldn’t even be a matter of debate as ways of
making cat toy news while big ticket items like net neutrality and the
destruction of livelihoods of the majority slide right by. These questions
on social issues have majority support by and large and usually in the
right direction but we have focus on them because the GOP makes us while
the big stuff slides right by.

  5. more like we can thank the power of greed for stepping in and helping to
stop this bill. Businesses know if the state or businesses start turning
away customers your going to lose profits.

  6. It was never about homosexuality…IT WAS BUSINESS!!! Capitalism always
tolerates discrimination until it affects the bottom line!

  7. I completely agree, people need to change before society can. It’s
disgusting to think that anyone would come up with such a horrendous piece
of legislation in the first place.

  8. no. it simply meant that in the end the corporate community TRUMPED the
    religious fanatics.

  9. What exactly is it you want?

The bill was simply to protect the religious freedom of business owners.
That’s out the window, so what more do you want now? Do we need a gay
history month? Gay education in schools? A quota of gay employees business
    owners must hire?

I would bet any gay business owner might have an issue offering their
services to a member of the Westborough baptist church. Or a Jewish
business owner being forced to provide services for a Nazi. But that type
of discrimination I assume is perfectly reasonable to you.

Honestly, why would you want to be married or photographed by someone who
disagrees with your lifestyle choice and would rather not? Surely there is
someone more accepting and condoning of your choices, shouldn’t you be
    giving them your business?

But no you need to impose your will on us all. You need to make sure you
can be openly gay and flaunt it at every opportunity and everyone has to
sit back and celebrate it. Good luck with folks handling your food who
might not be so accepting to your imposition.

  10. All one needs to do is follow the money. That is what this witches veto was
based on. Reflects well on the truth about the people that voted her and
her cronies into office doesn’t it? She doesn’t have a compassionate bone
in her bony little fingers. Right wing = Bigot, racist, corporatist,
    homophobe and liar.

  11. Ok so marriage between humans and animals would be legal? Gays started it
an other deviants would continue it.

  12. If Jan Brewer had vetoed it because “it was an abhorrent and un-american
pro-discrimination bill” I’d feel it was an evolution. Instead she felt it
    was “too broadly worded.”

She may as well have said, “We don’t mind discriminating against gays but
with the way this worded christians might get discriminated against too!”

It’s not an evolution. It’s bullshit.

  13. Reading between the lines: The only way to get a republican’s attention is
to hit them in the wallet. Even then, it’s probably too late or people have
    already evolved on the subject.

  14. the only reason Brewer vetoed this is because AZ would have lost the super
bowl in 2015 if she would have passed it

  15. would that go both ways, when u said, it would be ok for the husband to
    stone his wife ,
if the wife seen the husband cheating on her would it mean she can stone
    him to

  16. As soon as they saw it was going to hit their pockets they backtracked.
The Republicans have principals and if you don’t like them …. they have
    others!

  17. I hated this guy the first time I saw him, now I’m damn near in love with
him. Totally won me over. Good job Placone.
