  1. It should come as no surprise that someone very high in Apple’s management
is gay. I am sure that Apple has more gays, as a percentage of their
workforce, than most companies. I hate to engage in stereotypes, but Apple
has always been known to be innovators when it comes to aesthetics – even
going so far as to put style over substance; form over function. Gay men,
for whatever reason, have a larger presence in artistic communities than in
other areas of life, so it makes sense that a technological company that
places such a great emphasis on design and beauty would employ gay men, and
would have a CEO who is gay.

  2. Usually gay people are gifted with a lot of taste and emotions. Since Cook
became CEO, iOS has become the worst looking, flatest dullest piece of crap
user-inteface ever. Makes Microsoft look good. Maybe Tim Cook is another
kind of gay? Either way I want him fired for ruining Apple.

  3. Bigots don’t purchase technology; they’re fucking hateful morons trapped in
    their caves

  4. Phony outrage, all of those people with an Apple product that didn’t like
the news will still be keeping their iPhones, Macs, iPads and etc.

  5. WHY WOULD ANY MAN OPENLY PROFESS THAT HE IS PROUD OF TAKING IT IN THE ASS ?
ANYBODY IMAGINE THAT IS POSSIBLY THE MOST DISGUSTING THING IN THE WORLD ?
COMPLETELY UNNATURAL AND PERVERTED AS WELL AS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH ?

  6. David, if you use the phrase “twitter was incredibly homophobic” that means
you are saying the majority of the response on twitter WAS homophobic,
which is wrong and misleading. The correct thing to say is that “there were
    SOME incredibly homophobic responses” …

  7. GOD DAMMIT. Now i’ll have to explain that i don’t hate gay people when i
talk shit about apple.God damn i hate their products so much.

  8. Are they sure all those people were genuinely homophobic? Some of those
comments sounded more like a ‘who cares’ statement. Trolling also certainly
exists, especially on twitter. Although that’s no doubt colored by my own
sincere lack of giving a shit what a CEOs sexual preferences are.

  9. OR maybe if these bigots boycott Apple enough their stuff won’t be quite so
    extortionately priced.

  10. I have Samsung and Apple devices…neither on has tried to rub their
sexuality in my face. Dumb bigots.

  11. …it’s almost like people can’t tell the difference between being
    homophobic and being un-PC anymore.

  12. And there’s not a damn thing fundamentalist Christian organizations can do
about it. Apple is bigger than “Southern Baptist.”

  13. Considering what a “success” the Disney boycott has had, more attendance
than ever, an apple boycott will have execs quaking. NOT !

  14. Everyone has known he was gay for a LONG time… funny how people react
this way now that he’s open about it.

  15. I was surprised by this news only because I thought it was already common
knowledge. I also thought it was common knowledge that bigots are ignorant
    twats.

  16. Time Cook is an iGay. Good for him and his bravery coming out. Bigots
always make themselves sound stupid and as immature as a bratty 4 year-old
    child.

  17. Ha, I’m thinking more of trolling than bigotry. Maybe some are, but most
    were probably from people trolling.

  18. I wish a homophobe would come fuck with me face to face about being gay, I
swear I’ll kill that bitch and anyone who comes and try me. It’s so funny
how these in yew closet bitches and bastards run so rapid on the internet
but you can barely find those hoes live and in color.

  19. “they gonna come up with gay bashing? im going give some gay blasting up in
    their ass”

    best quote ever

  20. “I didn’t really know anything about Tim Cook, other than what his position
    was” XD

  21. I have never been compelled to buy any Apple products, and this news hasn’t
    changed that.
