Good luck finding the information you are looking for. I remember the
impact that on our classmates when Mrs. Spicer came to speak to our junior
high class.
I am a fifty year old woman from Alberta, and I got a horrible chill when
Ms Spicer described the Saskatchewan high school teacher who does not know
the meaning of the name, ‘Auschwitz’. I know that history blurs with time,
but a teacher of the next generation of leaders, in this century, who has
never heard of these terrible places and what happened there is a thing
that makes me fear for the future.
