  13. I’m ambivalent as to whether the games should’ve been boycotted.
    I’d be more in favour of peaceful protest during the games.
    The chap from the IOC did his part at the opening ceremony and Pussy Riot
    have had a go, with predictable results..Viva, you go girls!
    That said, there are some compensations to the games going ahead.
    This p.m. the G.B. boys are playing our Canadian cousins in the Curling.
    Who would’ve thought that a game played on the ice could be so “hot?”
    Woof, woof! :O)

  18. Well done channel 4 about time gays and lesbians were understood there’s
    nothing wrong with it. At the end its 2 people in love what’s the problem?
    They are still humans and normal people who have feeling. If you wish to
    follow the rainbow then follow it don’t let judgemental people stop you
    being happy 🙂 x

  20. I don’t think that many people understand the meaning of this, the video is
    clearly being satirical of Russia and its medieval views. The video is
    trying to show how Russia sees gay people and in all honesty I think this
    is a great thing by channel 4

    attitude that Russian hardliners have and can see why they think the crisis
    in Crimea is acceptable…

    minorities , activists etc. please use constructive means to boycott
    Russian goods or those who sponsored this farce of an Olympics , even if
    you just boycott Russian vodka or sponsers cola , both can easily be

    Yes, there is pathetic homophobia in Russia that has been extra-reported in
    the media recently, and yes, gay people should be free to go to Russia and
    be safe etc. End of, not really much to say about it.

    This advert is just lame and over the top – and to top it off they even
    said ‘BORN RISKY’ – this entire video isn’t even risky in the slightest! In
    fact, it’s extremely boring.
