I am completely surprised that everyone is shocked by this guy’s opinions
… aren’t people like him SUPPOSED to think like this? He’s merely
glorified white-trash who talks about how everyone “needs Jesus”, & yet he
has no scruples about embracing the modern world of media & celebrity with
his face (& beard) plastered on every product one can imagine, all the
while ranking in absurd amounts of money by selling out à la Krusty the
Clown. He is involved in one of the most tasteless & stupid forms of
entertainment that has ever existed, a vomitous television fad created for
the lowest common denominator.
I find it very ironic that A&E – which is supposed to mean “Arts &
Entertainment” – actually got its start as a performing arts channel, hence
its name. Now it shows the absolute bottom of programming that has ever
graced the small screen. I often wonder what people in 100 years & beyond
will think of the people & culture of our time who not only watched “Duck
Dynasty” & other such garbage, but were actually so proud of this fact that
they wanted to wear it on a t-shirt.

This whole Duck Dynasty fiasco shows the true ignorance of so many
Americans. Sadly what Phil Robertson said is the dark side of freedom of
speech but with out freedom of speech, and i mean all speech and not just
the speech you personally like, all minorities would still be persecuted.
Freedom isn’t perfect but it’s better than every moron dictating what you
can and can not do or say.
Get over it. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.
Well these anti-gay ‘american heroes’ are back in business… making the
gay ceo of A&E rich. If they truly despised gays then why would they serve

are still friends his step brother who is 1 of my closest friends is

Go Duck men horah horah!! I like the show and I’m an intelligent person in
common standards. I think it’s funny as can be with just plain old fashion
non violent, non vulgar everyday humor. GQ mag. ask Phil a question and the
man gave them a answer. Maybe they already knew what the answer would be,
so that would make it a trick question would it not.
Gay people are baby’s
The thing about the whole deal is his comments were taken out of context.
Phil does not hate gay people, he later on in the interview states, “I love
all men and women. I am a lover of humanity, not a hater. … I have been
immoral, drunk, high. I ran with the wicked people for 28 years and I have
run with the Jesus people since and the contrast is astounding.” He thinks
homosexuality is a sin though, but does not condemn anyone. He simply
stated his views, when asked, and used a Bible verse as a reference
supporting his thoughts. They were not phil’s words that used bestiality
and homosexuality in the same sentence, they were the Bible’s. As for the
so called racial slur. He was just talking about what it was like growing
up in the south. He was asked, “was there a lot of racial tension/” and
than made the comment saying we worked along side them and they were happy.
Probably a little sensitive to talk about and probably should have said no
comment, but it was his experience. It is sad to see a man getting
persecuted for not believing what is popular, but sticking to his gut and
beliefs. I applaud you phil for sticking up for what you believe in.
What happened to freedom of speech
I don’t agree with anything anti homosexual, as long as your not fucking
kids or animals give it hell. I just find it funny how heterosexuals have
no choice but to be tolerant towards homosexuals but homosexuals don’t have
to be tolerant of anything. So what if he thinks a little backwards,
everyone is guilty of ignorance at some point in your life. Even me, for
those of you who want start bitching at me.
Duck dynasty did not do it for the money, they talked about the Bible and
what it says. And God blessed them with money. Money is not everything,
they are very grateful for what our great God has provided them with!

mental disorder and if you really were born with it than you were born with
a birth defect?
First off he never equated homosexuality to bestiality.did anyone even read
his comments?! He just stated his religious beliefs when asked. Last I
checked that’s protected under the bill of rights.. and according to the
bible,homosexuality is a sin punishable by death in the old testament. Look
it up. I don’t know where they got the black thing. I don’t recollect him
saying anything about blacks. Gay folks need to get a thicker skin and be
thankful the old testament isn’t still enforced. And don’t go calling me a
gay hater either because I know several gay folks. This is about being
reactionary.
