This is a surprise to me. I thought it was a federal law not to
discriminate based on sexual orientation. Guess I was mistaken.
people think they can’t be discriminated against in the US cause of their
sexuality? it’s strange that americans think their country is more
progressive than it is
I love how their excuse always is, “Well it’s not needed because there is
no longer racism…then whats wrong with it going through? or remaining,
it comes off more like they just want it gone, which is of course what they
want.
So the right wing is DEFENDING the right to sexually harrass gay men…
Now, let us consider how many right wingers have been found over the last
decadde blowing guys in public restrooms. I notice a patern emerging….
from the time I was about 13 till I was 18 I did not know it was illegal
for gays to marry, and was horribly embarrassed when I responded to my new
brother-in-law(who is gay) by saying “What’s the deal you guys can get
hitched right?” I guess it was more weird to me, as a teen, that they
could not marry.
My aunt has been fired, and so has my cousin… So it is bullshit to
believe that it does not happen anymore!
I’m ignorant as to the whole issue here, but are you saying that as an
employer I shouldn’t have the ability to tell a male employee not to wear a
dress into the office space that I pay for? I should not be allowed to do
that?
What up? Cenky!
For the love of gawd, please delete TYT Shows channel and put these videos
on The Young Turks main channel. The same with the Wolf-pac videos. PLEASE.
The problem with so many channels is that it’s hard for everyone to get
important information if it’s spread out. Keep it simple stupid.
The US should first get rid of this “employment at will” nonsense, where
people can get fired on the spot for no reason at all and with next to no
consequences for the employer. Employers (and higher-ups) need to
understand that you can’t just treat people like dirt, regardless of
whether its because of their sexual orientation or any other personal
aspect.
If they argue it’s already the law then why would they object to it being
re-stated? After all are these not the same people who pass laws in their
respective states banning gay marriage despite it already being unlawful?
Clearly they have no problem re-stating what they see as the legal status
quo in these instances.
Now John Boner can attack the larger issue – discrimination against
christians -_-
doesn’t it usually happen that after someone states things like “racism is
no longer an issue.” or ‘gay discrimination is over.” there is usually
something that happens that proves the opposite?
