It is so unfortunate for the Christian Church to feel it necessary to be
aligned with harsh conservative political ideology. Although the Faith
contains much of what might be called “conservative” principles, obviously,
there is throughout all of the writings and history, a balance. If someone
looks at the life of Jesus Christ, He might be called both a “conservative”
AND a “liberal”, depending. On the one hand, He was a practicing Jew and
defended the Mosaic Law, and spoke of judgement and the fear of God. On the
other hand, He was clearly socialistic and loved the common man, the
despised, the unclean. When we consider how compassionate He was toward
“the least of these”, and look at some of the conservative Church’s
political leanings, what do we see?
Judgement. And judgement, by man against man, is always warned against,
severely..
Conservative Christians seem to believe that they’ve hitched a ride on all
the loathing of the poor, the alien, the unclean; and they continue to
believe that America is some outpost of the Kingdom of God, favored, held
to some noble standard, and that our national pride is quite comfortably
mingled with the approval of God Himself.

both. He is not some American patriot- He is a King, and His life and

qualified because they were to lazy to go to school and get the education.
Other people think they are to good for lower paying jobs. The excuse is

follow the teachings of Augustine and not that which is written in the

Were they to follow the book, then they might be “known” when they come in

know them … basically, Hagee, who correctly marked 2015 [in his book
“Four Blood Moons”] as a critical year in biblical terms, wants people to
be destroyed.
