  1. Michigan just became the 34th state to vote that a Constitutional
    Convention be called, and no one really noticed. Not Congress, not the
    media, no one. In Article V of the Constitution, it allows for the
    Constitution to be amended two ways: through Congressional vote, and
    through State Legislature vote. We haven’t amended the Constitution in
    decades, and now that the states have voted to do so…no one noticed. The

    Convention however amended has to be done by politicians & they are so
    greedy, self serving, corrupt, and progressives on both sides left & right
    do not have the everyday citizens best interest in mind, I come to these
    views by looking at their track record all my life, and reading history.

    basically stepping all over the people. The way I see it is, where you
    people when slavery was going on? Where were you when Jim Crow was going
    on? Where were you when the FED and the IRS was created? Where were you
    when the American government hired Nazis for MK Ultra? Where were you
    people? I have no faith in the American people then and certainly don’t

  22. Since 12 of the states that had voted for the convention have recinded
    their votes, there are no longer the 34 required votes for the convention.
    Bottom line, there will be no constitutional convention.

  27. Why exactly should they respect the Bible again, we have separation of
    church & state, the Bible deserves as much respect as every other holy book
    does; the freedom to be read, cherished & followed openly, but not to be
    forced upon others, used to justify laws/discrimination or taught as fact
    in public schools. We need LESS pandering to the Christian theocrats in
    Washington, not more!
    I’m disappointed in RT for taking this mentality that the Bible deserves
    more respect in a nation that is meant to stand for religious freedom and
    separation of church & state. (Though, Russia has been openly pandering to
    the theocrats for a while now; case in point, their anti-gay laws. As if
    poor religious people are lacking in global power & we queer run
    everything!)

  28. Lori is right, but one crucial thing about the 1st part, where
    Congress/Senate vote, needs to be followed also by a 3/4s state legislature
    vote as well. 16th amendment is illegal as it never got a 3/4s majority
    ratification, which of course, is the graduated income tax and Federal
    Reserve garbage that has hijacked the government and destroyed its
    sovereignty over the issuance of credit/money, which is simply used to
    benefit the foreign trash who set it up, and are still massively profiting
    off of it right now.

  42. Okay, you’ve got your story pretty backwards, here. It’s not the States
    calling a convention with Congress, they’re calling a convention sans
    Congress. It’s not about budget along, but also about term limits, and our
    U.S. government should be quaking in their damn boots, not rejoicing. No
    one’s heard about this because the government owns the media, and will not
    allow anything like this to be seen.

  45. It is true that if the wrong persons control the reconvened Constitutional
    Convention things could get worse, however, How much worse could it get?
    Personally, I do not believe the time is right yet, but that could change
    rapidly.
    The provision to reconvene the Constitutional Convention allows “We The
    People” to revolt without taking up arms. We can retake control of our
    government and we can “through the bums out.” The problem is that there
    must be enough of us who are informed and who care. When things get bad
    enough we need to bring this on! I’m ready, in fact I have been ready for a
    long, long time. How about you all?

    demanding the right changes getting back to constitutional govt! The only
    other chance we have is disband the union, so let’s make the convention
    happen and work.
