  1. @Mrcharliebobo Social marriage, certainly. and the gov’t doesnt regulate
social marriage. Civic marriage, on the other hand, is *by definition,
    regulated.

  2. @ArtFoodPhilosophy So you’re fine with homosexuality, as long as they only
    have oral sex like heterosexuals?

  3. “The fact that even convicted serial murderers can get married in prison
shows to what extent it is considered a “right” and not a “privelege”.”
What? That’s absurd. Convicted serial murderers have a roof over their
head. Is that a “right”, rather than a commodity?

  4. What gave the government the authority to regulate marriage in the first
place?? I don’t condone gay marriage and personally believe its morally
wrong, but what others do privately is their business. Two homos banging
each other in the butt or two dikes licking each other in the privacy of
their home, doesn’t effect anybody but those involved, The Gov doesn’t give
rights, its job is to protect them, but if you let them grant rights, then
your giving them the power to take them away.

  5. The actions of a marriage are the same for everyone. First, you have to go
down to city hall to get the license and prove that you live where you live
for tax purposes. That is something EVERYONE must do before having any kind
of service. Gay people are denied that right and the other rights like tax,
inheritance and other rights that heterosexuals get because they are
allowed to marry. It has little to do with God unless you want to have that
service to confirm it within your faith community.

  6. Just like you fail every comment! You and your comments are futile, you
    just dont matter!

  7. @Mrcharliebobo You’re out of the discussion. What’s the penalty for an
“illegal marriage”. Jesus, it doesn’t even have to be homosexual. What
about minors, groups? We just don’t penalize people for going around and
saying that they are socially bound to one another with expectations of
    fidelity, we don’t.

  8. @ArtFoodPhilosophy sobs, “Sodomy…is a filthy, disgusting, unhygienic,
disease promoting, sick, perverted sexuality.” You’re probably just doing
    it wrong.

  9. @RiseofMarine well we can’t stop it, thankfully. THEY’RE GETTING MARRIED,
    legally or not!!!!

  10. Supreme Court Justice ANTHONY Kennedy..NOT JFK . The SCOTUS ruled that
sodomy was a “right” between consenting adults..NOT President John F.
    Kennedy in the ’60’s

  11. @lzambeni1 you are correct. In fact, even two prisoners that are each
sentenced to permanent lifetime solitary confinement, and will never even
be in the same room with their spouse are permitted to get married. It’s
hard to see how the sex of the spouse matters in that case.

  12. Actually it is just as sick with a woman and just as unnatural…not
everyone participates in that sort of thing. And for people that claim to
be so tolerant and desiring tolerant…running around calling people
homophobes for simply not agreeing with you makes you just as much as a
bigot as they are if they are calling you names.

  13. @rg0057 I agree. Prisoners have things, or don’t have things, for a
multitude of reasons, so an argument to view a *CIVIC institution* as a
“fundamental right” because prisoner have or don’t have the given thing, is
    meaningless.
