  1. He does it in a so much better way than lady gaga ! I am heterosexual and
    strongly support human rights ! But I didn’t like it when eminem announced
    gaga as a winner for an award ( I forgot what kind of award ) and she said
    : this award is for all the lesbians ! If I win an award I don’t say : this
    award is for all the heteros !

  2. This song, the marriage event at the Grammy’s, and so many other things
    reminded me of this verse. I can already see others tossing out Old
    Testament verses to try and counter…lol.
    But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will
    be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive,
    disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love,

  4. I’m glad Macklemore is standing up for what he believes, but his song
    twists what the Bible really says with how people claiming to be Christians
    act. The Bible says homosexuality is a sin, but it also says to love one
    another. We can love each other and still disagree. Homosexuality is sin,
    and the true followers of the Bible and Christ will tell you that, but they
    aren’t going to say it in hateful way. I agree that a lot of hate has been
    spread because of this topic and that’s not right, that’s not Biblical and
    that’s not Christian. What is Biblical and Christian is being honest about
    what God blatantly says is a sin (and that doesn’t JUST go for
    homosexuality, it goes for every sin) and explain that there is a way out
    if you accept it. I understand that people argue “equal rights” but the
    flipside is that true Christians (it’s sad that I have to add “true”
    whenever I talk about Christians, but I do) cannot support homosexuality
    because it would be condoning something God says is sin. As a Christian,
    my allegiance is to God before man and if God says something is wrong, then
    I can’t support it in any way, shape, or form. You see, it’s not about
    hate (it shouldn’t be…hate in itself is a sin according to Christ), it’s
    about standing up for what we believe is right just like gays and lesbians
    stand up for what they think is right. There doesn’t need to be hate, but
    there does need to be honesty.

  5. This man should not be trying to justify homosexuality. If he makes people
    feel that it’s alright to be gay, then they won’t repent of their sins and
    he will have innocent blood on his hands and he’ll be judged accordingly.

  7. my dad is a homophobic and listening to this song helped me in more ways
    than one. I accepted myself with the help of this song, I believed in who I
    am, but more importantly I came out to my homophobic dad. At first he
    didn’t like it, he tried making me call myself “curious”, said it was just
    a phase…yeah because phases last all of your life for as long as you can
    remember. After a long heated argument he’s finally realised im still
    his little girl no matter who I fall in love with. So thanks macklemore, I
    owe you one!

    realize that I am a good person no matter what and that other peoples
    opinions on how i am don’t really matter. Thank you Macklemore <3

  16. Thank you macklemore…for standing for those who cant speak…i live in a
    family where homos lebs bis arent accepted…but that the old genaration
    the new generation says its okay. And im christin but I just dont agree
    with some of the stuff thay say that “that homos are lost people” or “that
    there just faggots” and I agree with ya man…like you and my friend/sister
    Anon told me…”god still loves you.” So thanks for speaking for me and for

    do with himself.

  19. Many people are discussing each other’s opinions in the comments in some
    ways which angers others and the best thing to do is to ignore it because
    we all have differences in the thought of homosexuality. However to call
    Macklemore a homosexual is highly disrespectful just because of his opinion
    and why he wrote the song. So please, discuss in a more orderly fashion
    than to call each other vulgar names.

    watching his videos idk why your even watching this one. gays should be
    treated with respect same as we give respect to youl so why does it matter
    if their gay or lesbian we should all be treated the same way. they didn’t
    do anything to you so why do you do something to them and your probably
    gonna say they are fags or bastards if you think that then you dont know
    what those words mean same love is a awesome song and Macklemore is cool to
    keep it up
