@warickii and by the way, its the gays killing themselves lately by
suicide. if people bully them its wrong, but they didn’t just kill
themselves because of that i’m sure being gay had something to do with it.
maybe not all cases but some possibly. suicide is also wrong and the worst
possible thing to do to your own self.
As much is wrong with being gay or lesbian or transgender as much as is
wrong with being black or white; nothing.

Being a southerner and seeing both races unite to discriminate against a
“new” people is sickening. How people can forget the Modern Civil Rights
Movement is beyond my understanding, but somehow it is happening. I can
only hope that it stops soon.

well said. my mother excuses her racist father as a product of the time and
the place where he grew up. he was from alabama. he didn’t hate all blacks.
he didn’t suggest they be lynched (so far as i know). he instead thought
they should be seperate and somehow were less than he. i now find myself
excusing my mother as a product of her times. an old thinker whose
perspective is all too slowing being phased out of the culture at large. i
only hope my siblings escape this backwardness.
