  1. START EXCHANGING THE CRIMINALS YOU ARE GIVING THE RIGHT TO HIDE IN THE USA
    ,,THEN WE TALK !!!!!!

  2. Yeah. Trying to change Putin’s mind would be like trying to move the sun by
    hand.

  3. …I remember obama saying that russia has ‘fell into soviet mentality’.
Fine, but what mentality did america fall back into? That of a 5 yo?

  4. I am really starting to wonder if it’s my perception, or if things really
have become so convoluted. In the old days, there was good and evil. There
was Hitler and Stalin and Pol Pot. Now, my government has become, not an
enemy, but a “frenemy.” We do bad things, but our actions are obfuscated by
layers of abstraction. In the mean time, Russia protects Snowden, but
threatens the liberty and lives of gay people. We now seem to live in a
world of neither hot nor cold, but rather, lukewarm.

  5. Using gay rights as a reason is just a carpetbagging moment to keep up his
    façade.

  6. Is David Pacman Really STUPID enough to believe the absolute bullshit he
SHOVES down your throat???? Democrats & Republicans are EQUALLY CORRUPT,
they are SCREWING US & COMITTING CRIMES AGAINST US EVERY DAY, & this CLOWN
defends the Democrats AT ANY COST!!!! LOOK INTO THE NEXT CRIME OUR GOV’T IS
GETTING READY TO COMMIT AGAINST US, THE TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP
AGREEMENT, IT WILL DESTROY THE REMAINDER OF OUR CONSTITUTION!

  7. Obama is a menace. He’s the worst kind of coward. He appeases the wrong
people. He’s a huuge dsappointment, but the US people should ensure that
the Republicans never again get a sniff of power because they have
partially reduced him to this mewling sycophantic spineless man. If Obama
was less concerned about concensus, and the Republicans were less concerned
about being massive obstructionist racist dicks, America could be a much
better place today than 6 years ago and everyone could shine.

  8. Mainstream news media used the gay stuff for reason why they did not meet ?
But he went to Saudi Arabia and bowed for there KING .

  9. Mmm, but doesn’t the internet and easy access to actual facts work against
that? Will this right wing extremism really survive itself in these coming
10 years? Seems like people are really starting to understand that many on
the right who doesn’t sound like Beck or Michele Bachmann just doesn’t
because they’re smart enough to keep their worst opinions for themselves? I
dunno man, I’m not in the US but personally I’m not ready to give up all
hope yet. It’s still time to ‘get a grip’, imo…

  10. I hope that you’re right, Farmfield. Nothing is predictable, one way or
another. I’ve begun reading Mandelbrot’s treatise on fractal geometry. What
I gather from that topic is that even in the Mandelbrot Set, one cannot
predict one layer from the next. For that matter, given a series of digits,
taken from Pi, predicting the next digit in the series is impossible. The
same is true for human behavior. Will the internet prevent totalitarianism?
Maybe, not in its present form, but in another?.

  11. Human rights?! Ha ha ha ha ha ha. The hypocricy is staggering! Guantanamo,
drone strikes on US citizens, solitary confinement for Manning, NSA spying
against your own constitution, to say nothing of the legion violations of
sovereign nations’ territory, and undermining governments. How Obama
managed to say that without sniggering is utterly amazing. What the fuck
has happened to the press in America? I’ve never seen such sycophantic and
whipped mainstream media as in the land of free speech!

  12. Why didn’t we all request he have a STOP VIOLENCE PLAN for Black on Black
crime in high crime areas . There have been 500 black Americans murdered in
last 16 months in Chicago and 10,000 Black Americans from all over America
have been murdered since OBAMA first took Presidential office .

  13. I’m not sure if the US necessarily wants to punish Snowden because it would
cause a lot of negative repercussions. I think this was listed as a reason
because of the lack of harmony between Russia and us. As far as the
arresting gay athletes thing is concerned, I think Obama is taking a stand
on this by refusing to meet with Putin. I don’t think he could convince
Putin to change his mind and it would have been a wasted trip when Obama
could be doing other things that could help.

  14. The issues should be more of a reason to have the meeting not cancel it,
you’re getting no where with that attitude.

  15. True, I should not have trivialized it. I apologize. And we now know Obama
is now coming here to Sweden instead of meeting Putin, sadly I don’t think
he will be pressured at all on these issues even though our opposition
    officially demanded it yesterday.

  16. Well, both parties are bought out to a certain extent but that problem is
far more prevalent in the republican party, which is today little mire than
the political expression of corporate interests.

  17. Well, the US won’t have Obama potentially continuing their hissy fit over
Snowden and he gets to stick it to anti-gay bigots at the same time. Bit of
    a win-win, in my opinion.
