Consensus *IS* how science is done, it is the heart of peer review. It’s
the consensus of respected experts in their field, or did you imagine that
physics is just “something some guys made up”? The “prominent scientists”
you cite aren’t. They’re extreme out-liers in their field, held to be
disreputable or heading that way, or else they have no respected climate
science credentials.
You can’t trust scientists. They gave us cars and computers,… and you see
how those turned out.
Who is doing the lying? The earth has not warmed so far in this century and
arctic sea ice (arctic and Antarctic combined) is above average if not at
record levels. Those are facts, not models. Don’t drink the Kool-Aid.
Glaciers melting is a negative thing actually, if the north pole disappears
then the golf stream will not go like it should and the climate all over
the northern hemisphere is gonna be completely fucked.
Exept the temperature following CO2 levels, the fact that the global
average temperature has risen more in 200 than in 5 million years, and
continues to do so, acceleratingly, etc. CO2 traps heat. Add more CO2 to
the air, more heat is trapped. How hard is that to grasp?

Well, since the Boston bombing, I started to listen to him, but then I
realized how clueless he really is. I just can’t support someone who won’t
speculate on facts instead of assumptions.
People cite the scientific consensus on global warming to support their
belief not only in global warming but that it’s man-made. Consensus,
however, isn’t science. Most of these people don’t understand the science
but merely cite the Consensus, perhaps thinking take its side makes them
smart. Many prominent scientists, however, are among the skeptics of this
Consensus, like Khabibullo Abdusamatov, Judith Curry, Craig & Sherwood
Idso, Richard Lindzen, Garth Paltridge.
Well, the fact is, Global warming is happening. Call it whatever you want,
the glaciers are melting right now.

There is a way to ascertain long term climate information. Ice core
samples, taken from Antarctica, contain atmospheric data stretching back
thousands of years. So the argument that their is not enough long term
information about climatic change is invalid.
Biased sampling will give you biased results. Not everyone is
scientifically minded. That’s why the effort has to go to education in
young people first.
I’m hoping now that many more people have access to information that most
of these ass hats will be voted out. They’ve been able to take advantage of
the peoples ignorance for WAY too long now and it’s time to correct the
corruption.
Yeah, all these scientists do all day is create revolutionary advances in
medicine and heighten our standard of living tremendously. Their just a
