  1. So, if Allan’s assertion that our situation is analogous to Nazi Germany is
    accurate, can we assume that this video clip cuts off right before
    jackbooted thugs burst into the room and dragged him away for interrogation
    and “protective custody”?

    rather kept a very balanced, rational, historically educated perspective on
    these events.

  5. I think the best part of all of this is that they more or less *have* to
    come up with this oppression rhetoric, because what’s actually happening is
    much worse for them: They’re fading away, because the people who believe as
    they do are few and getting fewer.

  7. It’s weird how US fundamentalist Christians can never bring themselves to
    accept the fact that European fascism is a direct result of Vatican
    controlled Christian doctrines similar to their own simple minded US style
    evangelical Christian doctrines? They forget that It was as recent as the
    end of WWII that the Vatican finally ceased spreading the lie that the Jews
    were to blame for Jesus’s blood sacrifice. A piece of evil Christian
    biblical propaganda that drove the German Christians to despise and
    annihilate 20th century Jews.
    It’s as though their belief in God automatically exonerates him and his
    followers from facing up to the misery and genocide that their blind faith
    and adherence to their beloved biblical God delusion is directly
    responsible for.
    Christian propensity to ignore or rewrite history is quite disgraceful and
    dangerous for the future of humanity leaving future generations vulnerable
    to repeat the same atrocious mistakes.

    not discuss, debate, or have conversations. They do not listen, they do not
    compromise, & they refuse to create ANY policy. They are literally doing
    the very thing you “fear” & have only been partisan obstructionists as soon
    as the “half black guy” got elected

  10. I’m am a liberal and a conservative depending on the issue (leaning more
    liberal these days and I find myself defending a president I wouldn’t
    normally defend against the nonsense of the right) but the over-the-top
    hyperbole doesn’t get us anywhere. We are not now, nor have we ever been,
    close to being Nazi Germany. Oh, and I too am an historian so that makes us
    even.

    plays on her phone. Obviously a meeting of great intellect that ends with

    tactics meant to control others rather then convincing others of their
    ideals, will continually lead to the destruction of their message.

    losing on all fronts. World wide the none believers number is just over a
    billion now
