  1. Honestly Journeyman pics are opportunists. They produce a shit load of docs
then when any doc they have is relevant EVEN IF ITS OLD BY YEARS they
republish it and pretend to have a updated analysis of events. Stop being
    lazy

  2. how come this documentary doesn’t cover both sides.
no single interview or statement from goverment official.
    it’s so unfair.
and not a single UNHCR donation link on the description.
it’s like showing poverty purely as an entertainment.

  3. Interesting how the whole documentary is from one perspective and focuses
so much attention on the Muslim-Christian divide.

Even the historical point looked upon the Arab-Muslims as a foreign
invading force, who had no right to govern, despite the Islamic conquest
happening in the 7th century, there analysis seems to fails to mention the
forced colonial conversion in the 18th century.

Nonetheless, I have never heard any analysis of the Sudan conflict which
only focuses on religion and not the ethnic-culture problems, or energy
    resources.

Even the video is titles “The ethnic tensions that keep taking South Sudan
to the brink,” ironically you not only fail to mention the “ethnic”
divisions, but the video was filmed before 2011, when South Sudan gained
independence. For that reason you can not title the video “keep taking
South Sudan to the brink” and highlighting the religious divide, because
the current crisis is more complex than the North-South, or Islam-Christian
    divide.

  4. if your religious you will be left behind when humanity moves forward. We
cant keep playing nice with these moral terrorists.

  5. 99% of Sudanese people are BLACK AFRICANS!!!…They are NOT Arab Semitic
Caucasians at all..They don’t belong to J1 and J2 DNA like MOST native
Middle Eastern Arabs…Middle East is Western Asia NOT Africa for those
ignorant people who think different…Sudanese people will never be Arab
because they are NOT arabs but native Black Africans. And all of this war
and hate in Sudan comes from Sudanese people who are ashamed of what they
are which is Black Africans..You have those who are obviously BLACK african
but they want to be ”Arab” or act like Arabs and they follow the religion
Islam..But still they are Black Africans not Arabs..And then you have those
Sudanese who are proud black Africans and want Sudanese to follow their own
native black african culture and languages…These people are self
hating!!!…it’s just like some blacks in Latin America who deny being
black even if they have 4% European blood, they would rather identify with
”White European” people rather than identify with their 96% black african
blood and DNA..Sudanese black Africans are a JOKE to Arab people…Because
we Arab Semitic Middle Eastern people (Western Asians) do NOT see any
blacks the same as us native Arabs…They should just be proud of their own
African cultures and unite with their black African people instead of
trying to be something that they are not.

  6. American Christians should watch this & realize THIS is persecution. Not
being allowed to teach religion in science class or decide who gets married
isn’t persecution. That’s just losing undeserved & unfair privilege.

  7. give arms to all my christian brothers fight the arab dogs! crush them! do
not fall into the islamist brainwashing do not die for dumb ass rabs!

  8. religeon as per usual the cause for conflict .islam and christians will
never get along so these 2 countries will always be at war

  9. it grives me to see southern Sudan that practices christianity look at a
fake white christ . christ was black .the white man has fooled the world .
wake up and denounce antichrist .

  10. I can honestly say this is the worst “documentary” I’ve ever watched.
Notice they she didn’t even interview a single Northerner, while she
basically calls them foreign invaders. Completely one sided. I just hope
the less informed of you do some basic research before believing all this
bullshit. The South is independent now, and their killing each other, civil
war on ethic lines. Are they going to blame the Muslims now??

  11. Only africans will kill each other over dumb shit like this. Why cant they
stop killing each other and make their country a better place for the
    future

  12. one sided, that’s cool. didn’t talk to anyone up north, that’s cool.
outdated, that’s cool too. bc the rest is up to you to figure out and
investigate. this is their piece, so they can do whatever they want. just
take what you want and add it to your repertoire, and if it sucks bc it’s
old, then look at it as what did happen, kind of what you would get from
primary formal education. except for this is probably at least a little
    bit more accurate.

  13. They can’t blame the Muslims now, they’re killing each other always looking
    for some excuse.

  14. why the hell don’t they realize that they’re following 2 foreign religions.
you’re basically both dying in the name of foreigners.

  15. Wikipedia: *South Sudan became an independent state on 9 July 2011,
following a referendum that passed with 98.83% of the vote.*

    So they did it :)

  16. Well I find the title to be misleading. This isn’t about “ethnic” tensions
within South Sudan keeping it “on the brink” but rather about the conflict
between Muslim north and the newly independent Christian South. It is my
understanding that now that South Sudan has its independence that violence
is still widespread due to actual ethnic conflicts there. Maybe Journeyman
needs to go back and cover that story, or rename this video, because ethnic
tensions are threatening to tear South Sudan apart (not sure if the two
    main groups are both Christians).
