  6. I always hate having to preface comments with “I’m gay”, as though that
    makes me more qualified to have an opinion, but I have to do it here. “I’M
    GAY”, and anyone calling for a boycott is seriously misguided. Even if it
    did happen (it won’t), boycotts of the Olympics have taken place dozens of
    times and have zero impact. Far better, surely, to encourage athletes to
    come out, and send mixed, inclusive teams. When those teams win medals
    (they will), it’ll be the biggest “F you” to Russia.

  31. Most of Russia agrees, not most of the world. A lot of other countries even
    have marriage equality. The United States, Portugal, New Zealand, France,
    Uruguay, Iceland, Argentina, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, South Africa, Canada,
    Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands have all legalized gay marriage. It’s
    been almost 15 years since the Netherlands passed it. You’re delusional.
    Compared to the entire world a very small percentage agrees with arresting
    homosexuals just because they’re homosexuals.
