Boxer gets knocked out, blames ref’s ‘gambling problem’!/sweetboxing/status/178743001034661888

Boxing fans were treated to an amazing, action packed fight when Juan Manuel Lopez and Orlando Salido met in the ring for the second time in a year. The result of the fight ended nearly identical to their first fight last April with Lopez getting knocked out during the later rounds.

The only difference was, last time Lopez blamed “outside distractions.” This time he blamed the loss on the ref’s, “gambling problem,” even though he was dominated throughout the bout.

Lopez accusing referee of stopping it because of gambling? Never heard that excuse before. #boxing

If the ref stopped that fight to win a bet, it was a bet that Lopez wouldn't die in the ring.
