“GOT” Star Maisie Williams Will Slay ‘Em With the Pointy End on “RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K.”

First she slayed the Night King, now she’s going to slay the runway, henny!

Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, who played Arya Stark on the HBO fantasy series, has been confirmed as the first extra special guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K.

“What I love the most about drag is the story of the drag queen behind the facade. I think that so much of drag comes from a place of real pain and seeing how that transforms into a character is so interesting to me. I love that about art and about drag,” Maisie said in a statement about her upcoming trip to the Drag Race mainstage.

Maisie will join RuPaul and Michelle Visage at the judges panel, along with Graham Norton and Alan Carr will also appear as rotating resident judges throughout the eight-episode season.

Ru and Michelle spoke about Drag Race U.K. on a recent episode of their podcast, What’s the Tee?, with Ru teasing that fans “are going to flip” when they see the new international version.

“I predict we will be doing this English edition of Drag Race for many years to come,” he added.

Look for Maisie to sashay down the runway when the new series premieres this fall on BBC Three in U.K.

RuPaul’s Drag Race airs Thursdays at 9/8c on VH1.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was “just the cutest thing ever.”
