Paula White, a prosperity gospel minister who serves as President Donald Trump’s “spiritual adviser,” recently revealed she “saw the face of God” during a visit to Heaven, Right Wing Watch reports.
In a video of her account, White can be seen telling her congregants that her heavenly visit began when she found herself suddenly pushed to the floor by a weight, whereupon she suddenly ascended to “the Throne Room of God.”
“I literally went to the Throne Room of God,” she said. “There was a mist that was coming off the water, and I went to the Throne Room of God, and I didn’t see God’s face clearly, but I saw the face of God … I knew it was the face of God.”
“He put a mantle [on me] and it was a very distinct mantle,” she added. “There was a mantle and I saw it very distinctly, the color was like a goldish, a yellowish-goldish … and then I saw the Earth for a moment, and [God] brought me back, and he put me in certain places, one being the White House, and one being certain continents.”
White said she “didn’t really come out of that until the next morning.”
White made headlines earlier this month after telling her followers to stop paying their electric bills and donate the money to her church instead.
According to a report by Mother Jones, White recently told followers during a sermon at her Supernatural Ministry School in Miami that they could earn God’s favor by sending her church as much money as possible — even if that meant they should skip paying their monthly electric bills.
White reportedly told parishioners, “Instead of writing [that check] to the house of God as I’m instructed to, then what I’m saying spiritually is, ‘FPL (Florida Power and Light), I have now established a spiritual law that put you first.’ So, FPL, save my family, FPL, deliver my drug-addicted son.”
